6 Royal Look – Went upwards at box rise with the lids and contacted the starting gate. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the head and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days. |

1 Hot Barrels – (Beaten favourite) Slow to begin. Raced in restricted room rounding the first turn. Checked off heels rounding the turn off the back straight and lost ground.
3 Composed – Checked off heels rounding the first turn. Checked off heels rounding the turn off the back straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Peter Wilson regarding the greyhounds below market performance. Mr Wilson was disappointed how Composed finished the race off. Stewards and Mr Wilson agreed that the greyhound received several checks in running halting his momentum. Mr Wilson will report back to Stewards any abnormalities over the new few days should any arise. |
