8. Central Perk – Began awkwardly. Entering the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed off wrist injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days. |

Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Tarquin Neal regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Neal stated the greyhound didn’t begin well and was generally disappointed with the performance. Stewards noted the explanation. |

2. Dixie Gambler – Entering the back turn contacted the running rail. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. |

1. Small Town – Approaching the turn out of the home straight checked around heels. Entering the home straight on the final occasion was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

3. Sirius Wilson – Entering the home straight on the final occasion was checked. Approaching the winning post on the final occasion severely checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Darren Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s performance. After considering all available evidence, Stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory therefore invoked GAR 129 Unsatisfactory performance the greyhound must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
7. Money Tears – Entering the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an off-hind back muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

1. Cyclone Winston – Exiting the first was severely checked and then dragged down. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.
7. Salamanca – Exiting the first turn improved onto heels and checked and then stumbled. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a near-hind groin injury and was stood down from racing for 21 days. |
