Steward’s spoke to trainer Gregory Brennan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to purse – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4. Pat’s Big Boy – Through the first turn shifted out and took its attention away from the lure. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside pin muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representatives Margaret Cobbin and Pat Cullen regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Failing to purse by reason of injury – 10 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
