1. Bremmer Belle – Entering the first turn was checked. Approaching the winning post eased. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer David Kitchener regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
Stewards spoke to trainer Jeff Crawford in relation to some significant betting fluctuations. Mr Crawford stated he financially supported his greyhound today. The comments of Mr Crawford were noted, and a sample was taken for analysis. |
