3 Jimary Decoder – Shifted out abruptly towards another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Robert Patching regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue (2nd offence) – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

8 Magique Noir - When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer Raymond Heilbronn stated that the greyhound was having its first start for his kennel, and he believes the greyhound has adapted well to being trained in a smaller kennel environment. He also stated he has increased the greyhound’s weight, and it has been trialling well. Stewards noted the submissions. |
