Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 2 520m

 

1 I’m Driving Checked at the end of the front straight and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside shoulder and was stood down for 10 days.

 

 

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 2 520m

 

1 Sirius Bill  Appeared to sustain an injury at the winning post on the first occasion and took no competitive part.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a near side wrist and stopper injury and was stood down for 21 days

 

Race 3 - SHIPWRECK AT STUD NOVICE (1) 2 520m

 

No Significant racing incidents

3 Hooked on Torque Stewards Spoke to trainer J Torrens regarding its racing manners in the home straight.  After taking submissions and viewing all available patrol film stewards elected to give the greyhound the benefit of the doubt on this occasion.

Race 8 - CORPORATE DOLLARS CHALLENGE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 2 520m

 

4 Jens Joy  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.  Stewards spoke to trainer Jamie Hosking regarding the seeming poor performance.  Mr Hosking was disappointed in the run, he stated that he elected not to preview the greyhound tonight, he was however happy with how the greyhound had been training throughout the week.  Stewards noted Mr Hosking’s comments

 

Race 9 - DOVER & SONS MA5 2 520m

 

1 Romantic Verses Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed and injury to nearside and offside shoulder and was stood down for 10 days

 

Race 10 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 3 630m

 

4 Oreo Ethics Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 11 - TAB VENUE MODE MIXED 4/5 2 431m

 

6 Situation Room Checked and fell at the first turn and lost ground. Underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

Race 12 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 2 431m
