5. Looks Good – Late scratching at 3:39pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the veterinary official found the greyhound to have an injury to its nearside hind foot during kennelling. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. |

1. Gone On Green – Slow to begin, through the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

5. Hedrix Dutton – Rounding the home turn marred the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer A Monaghan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Hendrix Dutton did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Hendrix Dutton was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

4. Wildash Merv – Late scratching at 3:42pm due to weight variation (GAR 101(1). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer R Hassall was fined $100 acting under GAR 101(3)(b) |

6. Spring Rock – On pulling up made heavy contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

4. Cool Hand Steve – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

8. Spring Bistro – Rounding the home turn, turned its head outwards taking its attention away from the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hind leg. Under the provisions of GAR 41(1), a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative S Byers regarding the greyhounds racing manners rounding the home turn . Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury as this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Spring Bistro was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 7 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2. Teddy Foodle – Approaching the first turn was tightened making contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

8. Scripted – Into the first turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside fore foot split webbing. Under the provisions of GAR 41(1), a 21 day stand down period was imposed. |

3. Lock It In – Entering the back straight was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hip. Under the provisions of GAR 41(1), a 5 day stand down period was imposed. |

8. Bootin’ Boodie – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion to its nearside hind pad. No stand down period was imposed. |
