After considering all available evidence, Stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory therefore invoked GAR129 Unsatisfactory performance, the greyhound must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.

1. Blazing Lady – Entering the first turn checked around heels and then took its attention away from the lure and shifted up the track sharply and then raced wide. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Chad Bridges regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.
8. Bubble Baby – Entering the first turn was checked and taken up the track by an inside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. |
