1 Dawson’s Bear – Performed below market expectations. Checked in the front straight, checked on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer Jeff Crawford stated that he has been disappointed with the greyhound’s performances and is not likely to continue on with the greyhounds training. Stewards noted the submissions.

4 Cheers Cobber - Late scratching at 4.30pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an offside back muscle injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

7 Hooked On Torque - Late scratching at 4.30pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to be seasonal during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days.

7 Saddle Bronc – Checked entering the back straight. Became unbalanced and gave ground then checked entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hip support injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Peter Young regarding the greyhound’s action entering the home straight. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.
