4 Stolen Moment – Eased in the back straight then trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Malcolm Cuneo regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. Trainer Malcolm Cuneo advised the greyhound will now be retired.

7 Like The Wind – Checked entering the home straight then gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed near side front leg injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
8 She’s On Time – Became unbalanced rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
