1. Crazy Matrix – Approaching the back turn was checked. Through the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside hip strain and was stood down from racing for 5 days. |

1. Terry’s Taxi – Underwent a pre-race veterinarian examination and was passed fit to race.
6. Cecil Citizen – Entering the first turn was tightened and checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.
7. Oscar Joel – Through the first turn was checked. Through the back turn eased and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a chest muscle strain and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Stephen Neary regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury - 10 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

2. Snowy Waugh – Entering the back turn and through the back turn visibly eased. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Brent Kline regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
5. Fire Up Baz – Through the back turn put in an awkward stride and then eased appearing injured. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an off-foreleg injury and was stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial before nominating for any future events. |

Due to a mechanical issue the starting boxes failed to open, all greyhounds were removed from the boxes and subsequently all underwent a veterinarian examination and were passed fit to race. As a result, the race was started manually.
1. Par Seventy – Entering the first turn was tightened and checked and then contacted the running rail. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.
7. Barefoot Cowboy – Entering the first turn was tightened and checked and then fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. |
