I’m Refined – Severely checked and fell entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an off-fore spike wound injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 5 days.
Wotan Road – Severely checked and lost momentum. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Johnny Koala – Entering the home straight turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with a runner to its inside. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative Mr T Neal regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ representative submissions, stewards deemed that Johnny Koala did make head contact with the greyhound to its inside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Johnny Koala was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Ringbark Rebel - In the home straight turn turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with a runner to its inside. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr G Hall regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Ringbark Rebel did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Ringbark Rebel was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
Mukali – Slow to begin. Checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Who Really Knows - In the home straight turn turned its head inwards taking its attention away from the lure and eased. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr D Russell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Who Really Knows did take its attention away from the lure and eased, therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 2nd offence under this rule Who Really Knows was suspended from racing at all tracks for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
