2 Velocity Nova – Turned it’s head inwards and made muzzle contact with another runner in the home straight. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Felicia Guymer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
4 Sirius Emily - Late scratching at 2:41pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
8 Red Yogi – Made contact with the running rail after the finish line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. |
