Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MDNPW 288

8 Snow Storm Proved hard to box, subsequently made Box First. Turned its head to the inside away from the lure, leaving the turn into the home straight.

Snow Storm underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have off side hip injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Penny Rigg regarding the greyhounds’ racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) Snow Storm was found in breach and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

1 Splittin Tens Checked entering the turn out of the back straight.

Race 7 - CHASE NEWSPAPER NOVICE (2) 288m

5 Black Silver Commenced to give ground rounding the turn into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed spike wounds on the off side wrist, 3 days stand down from racing.

Race 8 - GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX NOVICE (3) 288m

4 Kokoda Beach Severely checked and lost balance leaving the turn into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off side pin, 7 days stand down from racing.

Race 9 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS NOVICE (4) 288m

5 Blue Beattie Severely checked and fell entering the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near side pin, 7 days stand down from racing.

6 Firefly Samantha Collided with another runner rounding the turn into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

Race 10 - TAB PATHWAYS FINAL 5PW 288m

3 Redfern Express Dragged down entering the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hock, 7 days stand down from racing.

Race 11 - SKY RACING BEST 8 288m

Race 12 - TAB VENUE MODE MIXED 3/4 288m

7 Borneo Mac Took an awkward stride leaving the back straight. Commenced to give ground rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a grade 3 back muscle injury, 60 days stand down from racing and satisfactory completion of one steward’s trial prior to racing next.
