8 Rolling Start – Turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with a runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer Keith Donaldson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Rolling Start did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside and therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 3rd offence under this rule Rolling Start was suspended from racing at all tracks for 3 months and until the completion of two satisfactory steward’s trials prior to racing next. |
