1 Shian Warrior – Exiting the home turn turned it’s head towards the inside runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mrs K Hoggan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
7 Run Pebbles Run – Shortly after the start was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip support. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.
