8 Definitive Miss - A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS GRADE 4 431m

1 Shian Warrior – Exiting the home turn turned it’s head towards the inside runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mrs K Hoggan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue (1^st offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 Run Pebbles Run – Shortly after the start was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip support. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

8 Spring Bistro – Entering the home turn was checked off heels and appeared awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

6 Pringle Tiger – Approaching the winning post turned its head to the outside runner and made muzzle contact. Steward’s spoke to trainer D Russell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1^st offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
