General: Stewards spoke to trainer Marie Westwood in relation to the boxing of her greyhound Beautify. Acting under provisions of GAR46(6), Stewards placed conditions on Ms Westwood's license pending further review.

Race 1 - CJ STOWERS TRANSPORT 0417774527 MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 2 520m

8 My Cujo – Checked soon after the start, checked entering the first turn, checked in the home straight then turned its head inward towards another runner taking its attention away from the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Karen Tribe regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse 1^st offence – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 2 - SIGNATURE SUBSTRATES MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 2 520m

Race 3 - AQUAHOLIC WATER CARTAGE AND TPT SERVICES NOVICE 2 520m

2 Milly Goat – Checked entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abdominal strain under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 4 - MASS FLUID TECHNOLOGIES MIXED 4/5 2 431m

2 Magique Noir – Checked entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Federal Fernando – Faltered in its action soon after the start and took no competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side back muscle injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

5 Set To Rock – Checked soon after the start, gave ground on the home turn and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side wrist injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 9 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 2 520m

7 Howdy Doody – Checked entering the first turn, made contact with the rail on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
