5 Red Rudolph – Improved upon the heels of another runner and became unbalanced entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
7 Church Penny – Severely checked and fell entering the first turn taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

6 Uncle Mickey – Took its attention away from the lure on multiple occasions throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer M.Edwards regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
