Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN (1) 288m

5 Red Rudolph – Improved upon the heels of another runner and became unbalanced entering the first turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

7 Church Penny – Severely checked and fell entering the first turn taking no further competitive part in the event.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 288m

6 Uncle Mickey – Took its attention away from the lure on multiple occasions throughout the event.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer M.Edwards regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue (1^st offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 3 - GOLDEN CHASE NOMS CLOSE TOMORROW MAIDEN (3) 288m

5 Holly Be Merry - Late scratching at 10.54am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an illness during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 3 days.

Race 4 - QGRC MDNPW 288m

Race 5 - GET YOUR GOLDEN CHASE NOMS IN NOW NOVICE (1) 288m

Race 6 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE NOVICE (2) 288m

3 Golden Bell - Underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Race 7 - HURRY GOLDEN CHASE CLOSING TOMORROW NOVICE (3) 288m

1 Long Jetty - Late scratching at 11.05am due to a weight variation pursuant to GAR 101(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Trainer J.Adams was fined $100 pursuant to GAR 101(3)(b).

3 Dashing Garth – Severely checked and dragged down by another runner entering the first turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

4 Annie’s Gift – Severely checked and fell entering the first turn and took no further competitive part in the event.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 8 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS NOVICE (4) 288m

1 Yes Carol – Slipped leaving the boxes.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offhind limb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

2 Unlimited Terror – Gave ground in the home straight.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearhind limb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.
