3 Specified A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin, 7 days stand down from racing.

Race 4 – QGRC GRADE 5 (1) 288m

7 Golden Geisha Dragged down rounding the turn out of the back straight. Turned its head to the outside, away from the lure passing the middle of the home straight.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to D Alchin, the handler of Golden Geisha regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment Golden Geisha was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 (2) 288m

2 Cookey Charisma Severely checked and fell entering the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

5 Lamia Lynnie Severely checked and fell entering the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside biceps injury, 10 days stand down from racing.

6 Goes Like Gary Late Scratching TAB 10:15am Injury 14 days.
