Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

2. Huckleberry Hugo – Was slow to begin. Approaching the winning post turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Peter O’Reilly regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m

4. Wagyu – Shortly after the start was checked. Entering the first turn ws checked. Entering the back turn was tightened and then commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside wrist injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

3. Waka Waka – Stewards noted the greyhound raced with a dislodged muzzle for a portion of the event.

Race 4 – QGRC NOVICE 431m

8. Panama Power – Entering the first turn was checked, dragged down and then fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

4. Pikelet Spirit – Entering the first turn was tightened, checked and then fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside calf injury and was stood from racing for 10 days.

5. Minter Twist - Entering the first turn was tightened, checked and then severely stumbled taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.
