1 Nacho Ninja – Checked on the first turn then eased and turned its head outwards towards another runner. Checked entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainers representative Anne Clelland regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Hara’s Luna – Beaten favourite. Checked entering the first turn, checked on the first turn, checked entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainers representative Tarquin Neal stated that after receiving early interference he was satisfied with the greyhound’s performance. A post-race urine sample was obtained.

8 Regards To Tony – Showed signs of aggression towards another runner in the catching pen. Acting under the provisions of GAR 131 Stewards advised trainers representative Chloe Muller the greyhound will now be required to wear an aggression muzzle at future events.
