Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 431m

2. Mega Miss – Leaving the boxes shifted out sharply and made head and muzzle contact with the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Felicia Guymer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

8. Federal Blonde – Entering the first turn was checked and then fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

9. Bogie Colt – Leaving the starting boxes shifted in and made head and muzzle contact with the inside runner. Through the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Chris Brydon regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

1. Flipper King – Entering the back turn was tightened and checked. Along the home straight turned its head outwards taking its attention away for the lure on multiple occasions. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Darren Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
