Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

8. Azir – In the back straight commenced to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hock. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m

1. Spring Rod – Into the first turn made contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

10. Church Penny – Trailed the field throughout and looked awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

1. Racing Queen – Took the back turn awkwardly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 4 – QGRC NOVICE (1) 431m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS NOVICE (2) 431m

6. Lost Dragon – Into the back turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 6 - QUEENSLAND GREYHOUND RACING CLUB MIXED 4/5 431m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 7 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MIXED 3/4 431m

6. Showtime Prissy – Through the first turn was checked, entering the back straight was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hock. A 60 day stand down was imposed. Trainer B Belford was advised the greyhound must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 8 - RED DOG MECHANIX PATHWAYS FINAL 5PW 431m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 9 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND MA5 431m

1. White Like Snow – Into the back turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound sustained a spike wound nearside hind foot. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Race 10 - GJ WALSH & CO GRADE 5 (1) 431m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 11 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS GRADE 5 (2) 431m

1. Freedom Is – Approaching the back turn shifted in making contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 12 – TAB GRADE 5 (3) 431m

No racing incidents of concern.

3. Esmerelda Cloud – Late scratching at 10:00am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 77). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

9. Orson Utzon – Through the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside back muscle. A 10 day stand down was imposed.
