General: Prior to the running of Race 12 stewards inspected the track having had a second serious injury occur on the day in Race 11. After the completion of the inspection stewards deemed the track safe for racing and proceeded with the final race. |

1 Wotan Road Appeared to sustain an injury while racing in the clear in back straight and took no further part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the greyhound was found to be suffering from a suspected offside hock fracture and was stood down for 90 days. The greyhound must complete a solo veterinary trial prior to nomination.
3 Get Maggie Approaching the winning post appeared to ease and turn its head inwards for a number of strides. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Charged under Gar 124 Failure to pursue 1st offence 28 days at Ipswich and must complete one successful trial prior to nomination. |
