4 Leisa’s Bundy – Late scratching at 10:17am under the provisions of GAR 86(1) not being presented in the required kennelling time. Stewards spoke to trainer D Clarson regarding the matter, who explained there was a significant traffic accident, forcing roads to close and having to re-route. Stewards noted the explanation.
8 Tandawanna – Entering the first turn was dragged down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been subsequently stood down from racing for 5 days.
