General: Stewards inspected the track prior to Race 1 due to weather conditions. The track surface was deemed satisfactory for racing.

Race 4 - QGRC MAIDEN HEAT 4 MAIDEN 288m

 

2 Anatoly – Races wide through the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN HEAT 5 MAIDEN 288m

 

3 Good Chardonnay – Entering the first turn was checked off heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

4 Leisa’s Bundy – Late scratching at 10:17am under the provisions of GAR 86(1) not being presented in the required kennelling time. Stewards spoke to trainer D Clarson regarding the matter, who explained there was a significant traffic accident, forcing roads to close and having to re-route. Stewards noted the explanation.

 

8 Tandawanna – Entering the first turn was dragged down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been subsequently stood down from racing for 5 days.

4 Flamin’ John – Through the first turn was checked off heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hip support. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.
