7. Ares – Shortly after the start was checked. Entering the first turn was tightened and checked. Approaching the winning post on the final occasion turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside hip support injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Bailey Dargusch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 7 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

3. Hot Tyson – Entering the first turn was checked and dragged down and then shortly after was checked and then stumbled. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside pin muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days.
