General:  Due to an electrical malfunction on track the start of race 8 was delayed with subsequent races being pushed back one time slot with Race 12 start time of 9:36pm.

Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 520m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE 520m

7. Ares – Shortly after the start was checked. Entering the first turn was tightened and checked. Approaching the winning post on the final occasion turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside hip support injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Bailey Dargusch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 7 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 3 - THE Q 2025 GRADE 5 (1) 520m

3. Hot Tyson – Entering the first turn was checked and dragged down and then shortly after was checked and then stumbled. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside pin muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

5. Memphis Raines – Entering the first turn improved onto heels and checked and then stumbled. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS GRADE 5 (2) 520m

2. Sleek Charm – Through the first turn was checked and then fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 5 - IPSWICH CUP PRELUDE FINAL OPEN 520m

8. Tarawi Lee – Through the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 6 - IPSWICH FUTURITY FINAL OPEN 520m

2. Awesome Story – Through the back turn shifted out and made muzzle contact with the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside back muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Jedda Cutlack regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.

5. Kisses For Gran – Entering the first turn was checked. Through the back turn shifted out and made muzzle contact with the outside runner. Steward’s spoke to trainer Adam Mcintosh regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR123 Marring – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 7 - PROSTATE CANCER CUP FINAL OPEN 630m

Race 8 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE IPSWICH DERBY FINAL OPEN 520m

5. Extreme Tension – Entering the first turn was checked and dragged down and then fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside hip support injury was stood down from racing for 10 days.

2. Van Helsing – Approaching the first turn was checked. Entering the first turn was checked. Through the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

8. Dashing Turbo – Along the home straight shifted out and made muzzle contact with the outside runner on multiple occasions. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Joshua Priest regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.
