Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 431m

2 Legal Addiction – Very slow to begin. Checked off heels approaching the home turn losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near-hind toe and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

9 Sirius Max – Checked off heels approaching the home turn losing considerable ground. Took several awkward strides in the home straight and finished the raced tailed off last. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside front toe and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days. Trainer Mr Darren Johnstone was advised the greyhound must pass a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 431m

6 Spring Amelia – Faltered in its action in the back straight, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip support and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

8 Just Another Mac – Shifted out in the home straight and made head and muzzle contact with another runner to its outside on several occasions. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Darryl McGrath regarding the racing manners of the greyhound in the home straight. After reviewing the footage and hearing submissions from Mr McGrath, Stewards invoked GAR123 Marring (2^nd offence) and stood down Just Another Mac for 28 days at all tracks plus the completion of a satisfactory trial. Mr McGrath advised Stewards that he intends to retire Just Another Mac after today’s race.

Race 10 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS PATHWAYS HEAT 3 5PW 431m

Race 11 - TAB PATHWAYS HEAT 4 5PW 431m

4 Hudson Magic – Checked off the heels of another runner in the back straight and lost ground. Checked off heels rounding the turn off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside wrist and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.
