3 Lamia Lynnie – Commenced to give ground and ease approaching the first turn taking no further competitive part in the event.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Steward’s spoke to trainer L.Williams regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

Race 4 - QGRC 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 288m

 

2 Fish Finder – Checked and fell in the catching pen.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

3 Midnight Girl – Made contact with the rail entering the first turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS 5TH GRADE HEAT 5 GRADE 5 288m

Race 6 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 6 GRADE 5 288m

 

2 Brocky’s Ethics – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 7 - CHASE NEWSPAPER 5TH GRADE HEAT 7 GRADE 5 288m

 

1 Lethal Violet – Checked and fell after the winning post.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 8 - GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX BEST 8 288m

 

5 Atomic Len – Checked entering the first turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 9 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MIXED 3/4 288m

 

1 Little Meg – Took an awkward stride approaching the winning post.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
