Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 2 520m

2 Powerful Whiskey – Commenced to give ground in the home straight.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound was slow to recover post-race and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 3 days.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Clegg regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Clegg stated that although he was disappointed with the performance the greyhound had not run this distance previously and that the wet track may have been a contributing factor.  Mr Clegg expects the greyhound to improve off todays run and will trial the greyhound prior to racing next. Mr Clegg did support the greyhound; Stewards noted the explanation.

5 Stoker Smoker – Checked and became unbalanced entering the first turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

7 Tilly’s Son - Late scratching at 3:29pm pursuant to GAR 76(2) with Stewards permission.  No stand down time was imposed.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 520m

5 He’s On Show – A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

Race 3 - THE Q 2025 NOVICE 2 520m

2 Crazy George – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS GRADE 5 2 431m

8 Infra Terra – Commenced to give ground in the back straight.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

Race 5 - RHONDDA GAIL GOSSNER MEMORIAL R5 3 630m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 6 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE GRADE 5 2 520m

1 High Range – Checked through the back turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

2 Cyclone Ranger – Checked through the back turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 7 - CENTURY POOLS MIXED 4/5 2 520m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 8 - CHASE NEWSPAPER 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 520m

10 Weblec Whistler - Late scratching at 4:28pm pursuant to GAR 76(2) with Stewards permission.  No stand down time was imposed.

Race 9 - GREYHOUND GEAR BEST 8 2 520m

8 Khatanga Tex – Checked on multiple occasions leaving the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have an injury to the offside hindlimb and the greyhound was euthanised on humane grounds.

Race 10 - M & K BUTCHERS MA5 2 520m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 11 – TAB 5PW 2 520m

8 Done And Dusted - Underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Race 12 - QGRC MIXED 4/5 2 431m

7 Indiana Wind - Late scratching at 4:28pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to be seasonal during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days.
