8 Aussie Sands – Severely checked and fell in the first turn. Failed to complete the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained a minor concussion and was subsequently stood down for 3 days. |

Race 8 - CHASE NEWSPAPER 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 2 520m |

1 Fancy Gift – Made contact with the running rail entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side hip and was subsequently stood down for 14 days.
3 Blow In – Severely checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.
4 Lola’s Theme - Severely checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Race 9 - GREYHOUND GEAR FFA 2 630m |
|
Due to a mechanical issue the starting boxes failed to open, all greyhounds were removed from the boxes and subsequently all underwent a veterinary examination and were passed fit to race. As a result, the race was started manually.
7 Mcnulty – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near hind foot and was subsequently stood down for 5 days.

4 Spin Master – Checked shortly after the start. Commenced to give ground into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side back muscle and was subsequently stood down for 28 days. Further, the greyhound will be required to complete an injury trial prior to returning to racing.
8 Hot Tyson - Checked entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. |
