General: After the running of race 7 it was identified that there was an issue with the starting boxes, the boxes were tested numerous times prior to the running of race 8 with no further issues.

During the start of race 8 the boxes faltered again causing a delay when opening which caused a material effect to the start of the event therefore under the provisions of GAR 110 Stewards declared the event a no race.

Due to the issue with the boxes race 9 was delayed while track staff carried out remedial work to the boxes. Race times were amended as follows – R9 2.39pm, R10 2.56pm, R11 3.19pm, R12 3.34pm.

Race 4 - QGRC PATHWAYS HEAT 3 5PW 288m

8 Wacky Wally – Faltered in its action on the home turn and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside back muscle injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS PATHWAYS HEAT 4 5PW 288m

Race 6 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE GRADE 4 288m

6 Timmy Turbo – Checked entering the home turn, severely checked and fell entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 7 - CHASE NEWSPAPER MIXED 3/4 288m

3 Wildash Merv - Checked entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside hind split webbing under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 8 - GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX BEST 8 288m

Under the provisions of GAR 110 race 8 was declared a No Race due to an issue with the starting boxes.

4 Shine And Fire – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings.

Race 9 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS PATHWAYS HEAT 5 5PW 288m

7 Bang Bang Bang – Slow to begin, trailed the field throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness in both hocks under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days. Trainer’s representative advised the greyhound will now be retired.

Race 10 - TAB PATHWAYS HEAT 6 5PW 288m

4 One More Rosie – Checked entering the home turn, gave ground in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer Malcolm Cuneo advised the greyhound will now be retired.

Race 11 - QUEENSLAND GREYHOUND RACING CLUB MA5 (1) 288m

2 Wild Taurean - Late scratching at 3.11pm pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to being seasonal the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days.

Race 12 - THE Q 2025 MA5 (2) 288m
