Race 1 – TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1

4. Bogie Becker – Shortly after the start was checked. Along the back straight was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Mick Campbell regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mick Cambell stated it was the greyhounds first start and the interference during the event were contributing factors in the performance and will also look to drop the greyhound back in distance. Stewards noted the explanation.

Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2

2. Bogie Nicole – Shortly after the start was checked. Entering the first turn was checked and turned sideways. Entering the back turn and for the remainder of the event raced wide. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Mick Campbell regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mick Cambell stated it was the greyhounds first start and the heavy interference during the event were contributing factors in the performance and will also look to drop the greyhound back in distance. Stewards noted the explanation.

4. Jagger’s Jam - Late scratching at 12:54pm due to a weight variation pursuant to GAR 101(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Ricky Hassall was fined $100 pursuant to GAR 101(3)(b).

5. Daintree Peggy – Entering the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 9 – GARRARD’S HORSE & HOUND

4. Special Werina – Entering the first turn was checked. Exiting the back turn was tightened and checked and then stumbled. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 10 – GJ WALSH & CO

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 11 – JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS

7. Polly’s Jester – Entering the back turn was checked. Through the back turn was checked and then severely stumbled taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

2. Give Me Donuts – Entering the back turn was tightened and checked. Through the back turn was dragged down from the runner behind and then shortly after was checked. Entering the home straight was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.
