General: Stewards inspected the track prior to the running of Race 1, and deemed the surface suitable for racing.

Race 1 - LADBROKES BET TICKER MAIDEN 2 520m

 

1 Forever Smiling – Checked through the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

7 Borrowed Love – Checked through the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE 2 520m

 

3 Zipping Adeline – Checked off heels and fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

6 Hey Jack – Checked and gave significant ground through the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg hip support. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 21 days.

 

7 Crystal Echoes - Checked off heels and fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

Race 3 - THE Q 2025 MA5 (1) 2 520m

 

2 Cool Hand Steve – Checked entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg calf muscle. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.  

 

Race 4 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MA5 (2) 2 520m

Race 5 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE 0-3 WINS 3 630m

 

9 Kitty Ann – Late scratching at 3:18pm pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to scours. The greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

4 Cupola – Severely checked and fell entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration and split webbing on the offside foreleg foot. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 21 days.
