General: Race 2 was declared a no race due to a greyhound running back into the field. In the opinion of the stewards this had materially affected the result and therefore acting under the provisions of GAR110 declared the event a No Race. Race 7 was declared a no race due to a greyhound running back into the field. In the opinion of the stewards this had materially affected the result and therefore acting under the provisions of GAR110 declared the event a No Race.
Stewards spoke to licensed handler Shannon Glasscock and reminded him of his obligations in relation to the Racing Queensland dress code. |

2. Fireball Lucy – Along the home straight eased taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside hip injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Shane Topping regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 14 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside back muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 42 days and must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial prior to racing next. |

2. Daintree Peggy – Shortly after the start was checked. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion was tightened and checked. Stewards spoke to trainer Christopher Broadrick regarding the greyhounds’ actions over the concluding stages. After considering all available evidence no further action was taken. |
