Race 1 - LADBROKES RACING CLUB MAIDEN 431m

 

1 Stay Warm David – Turned its head to the outside runner and made muzzle contact in the home straight.  Steward’s spoke to trainer D.Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

5 Pop Candy – Checked through the back turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE 431m

 

6 Quite Divine – Dragged down through the back turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

8 Forge Ahead – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 3 - WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM GRADE 5 (1) 431m

 

5 Sirius Coco – Checked through the back turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

Race 4 – QGRC GRADE 5 (2) 431m

 

1 Mcnulty – Commenced to give ground in the back straight and made contact with the rail through the back turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 (3) 431m

Race 6 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MIXED 4/5 431m

4 Shian Suzie – Severely checked and fell through the first turn taking no further competitive part in the event.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
