2 Purga Lad – shifted inwards and contacted the running when approaching the turn out of the back straight, and lost ground as a result. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
4 Lucky Fireball – tightened for room when rounding the turn out of the back straight then checked outwards across heels before shifting back inwards while unbalanced contacting the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. |
