Race 1 – WENDY MULRY TRAVEL | MAIDEN | 407m
SWIFT DOLL and MARYBURRA MARVEL were the
slowest to begin.
Immediately after leaving the boxes SWIFT DOLL
paused and turned towards the greyhound on the outside.
Trainer Christine Pollard was advised that a
warning would be placed on SWIFT DOLL due to its racing manners.
After leaving the back straight SWIFT DOLL
checked off the back of MAUI BEACH.
Coming around the home SWIFT DOLL and MAUI
BEACH bumped on two occasions.
Race 2 – NEWS EXPRESS ROCKHAMPTON | 5PW | 407m
Clean
start.
Approaching
the first turn STILTED CHATTER shifted out and bumped BEETOWN ROSEY causing
BEETOWN
ROSEY to check and lose ground. BEETOWN ROSEY raced wide around the home turn
and down the home straight.
Going
around the first turn HALBER TAG and JIMMY’S REWARD bumped resulting in both
greyhounds losing ground.
Race 3 – PATLAW SECURITIES | 5TH GRADE | 407m
HACIENDA
was slow to begin.
ALL
MIGHT and ALADDIN’S ANGEL bumped going around the first turn.
SNOWBALL
SHIRL and ALADDIN’S ANGEL bumped coming around the home turn
Race 4 – DINKY DI WEB DESIGN | MIXED 4/5 | 407m
MISS
WILDWEST and HONG KONG MAGRI were slow into stride.
Entering
the back straight FIVE FORTY shifted out and bumped HONG KONG MAGRI resulting
in both greyhounds checking and losing ground.
MISS
WILDWEST raced wide for the majority.
Race 5 – DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL | 4TH GRADE | 407m
DOUBLE
TAP and LINRICK were both slow to begin.
CHANDON
HAWKE and LILY BOSWELL bumped at the start.
LINRICK
raced wide in the early and middle stages then extremely wide after leaving the
back straight continuing extremely wide around the home turn and down the home
straight.
When
questioned trainer Lindsay McCarthy stated he would spell LINRICK for
approximately one month and when resuming would trial LINRICK with the near
side blinker removed.
Race 6 – ROCKY FEED AND SEED | MIXED 4/5 | 510m
BOKARM
LEO was declared a late scratching at 8.51pm by stewards acting on veterinary
advice when it was found to have an injured shoulder.
IRONPOT
SMASH and ESOTERIC were both slow to begin and bumped on the first corner.
IRONPOT
SMASH checked off the back of PARTIAL DEFENCE in the back straight.

Going
around the first turn BETTA BE BUNDY checked outwards across the back of RED
JAMIE.

JAY LOCHIE raced wide for the majority.
Race 8 – SANDAL WELDING | BEST 8 | 407m
RIFF was slow into
stride and raced wide throughout.
Shortly after the start
PROSPECT shifted outwards and bumped heavily with TARJO forcing TARJO outward
to bump heavily with EDGY resulting in all 3 greyhounds losing ground.
Leaving the back
straight EDGY checked off the back of BILLY CONGO.
PROSPECT shifted out
wide around the home turn.
