Race 1 –RQ MAIDEN 1000 ROK FINAL | MAIDEN GRADE | 407 Metres
RED BRIANNA, OVER TIME and VIGILANTE were all slow to begin. RED BRIANNA and OVER TIME bumped shortly after the start. RED BRIANNA checked off the back of OVER TIME in the back straight. ICY RED raced wide for the majority.
Race 2 –DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL AUSTRALIA DAY CUP | FFA GRADE | 510 Metres
Clean start. GRACIOUS LADY was checked by TRIP DANCER shortly after the start. TRIP DANCER and MAYHEM MAGIC bumped on the first turn. Leaving the back straight TRIP DANCER checked outwards across the back of RED JAMIE.
Race 3 –WENDY MULRY TRAVEL | 5thGRADE | 407 Metres
FAN THE FLAME and HIGH WATER were both slow into stride. Approaching the first turn BRAXTON HAYZE checked out across the back of FANTASIA LEE. In the back straight MY KIDS TUITION was checked by BRAXTON HAYZE.
Race 4 –THE BUBE FAMILY | 5thGRADE | 407 Metres
Clean start Approaching the first turn STILTED CHATTER shifted out abruptly bumping HARA’S DASH heavily, causing HARA”s DASH to be pushed out onto RICHO’S MISS, This resulted in HARA’S DASH falling heavily and finishing the race well back, RICHO”S MISS checked severely and lost considerable ground from the incident. BET ON BETTY raced wide for the majority. HARA’S DASH underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering an injury to the upper near hind leg and was subsequently stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. MASTER CARD was slow into stride. Shortly after the start MERLON HAYZE checked off ESOTERIC. Approaching the first turn LEXUS BANNER shifted out and checked ESOTERIC. MASTER CARD and ESOTERIC bumped coming around the home turn, MERLON HAYZE raced wide around the home turn and down the home straight. LEXUS BANNER underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering an injury to the near hind leg and was subsequently stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.
Race 6 –DIPLOCK'S COLLISION AND REPAIR CENTRE | 5thGRADE | 407 Metres
URANA LAURIE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start ARE JAY JEAN checked and lost ground after running into the back of MYSTERIOUS ROSE. HARRY HARKS commenced to lose ground after entering the back straight. EXCITABLE ANGEL and ZAMBORA CAITLYN bumped coming around the home turn. HARRY HARKS underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering an injury to the near hind leg and was subsequently stood down from racing for a period of 28 days.
Race 7 –PATLAW SECURITIES | 4thGRADE | 407 Metres
FARINGDON and IRISH SPICE were both slow into stride. FARINGDON checked off the back of FIVE FORTY approaching the first turn. FIVE FORTY raced wide throughout;
Race 8 –THE JACKSON FAMILY | BEST 8 | 407 Metres
SPEED ACTION was slow to begin. HAPPY PANTERA and DENEHOLME DASHER bumped shortly after the start. RIFF commenced to lose ground shortly after entering the back straight and finished the race well back. PROSPECT race wide throughout. RIFF underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering an injury to the off hind leg and was subsequently stood down from racing for a period of 14 days.
