Race Reports
Race 1 – WAYNE CLIFFORDMAIDEN 407Metres
KODA KEEPER and OSHKOSH FLAKE were both slow into stride. Approaching the first turn RED BRIANNA bumped VIGILANTE outwards to collide heavily with ICY RED resulting in ICY RED having a heavy fall and taking no further part in the race. VIGILANTE has continued on an outward path and collided with OSHKOSH FLAKE causing both greyhounds to check severely and lose considerable ground. KODA KEEPER raced wide throughout. ICY RED underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering an injury to the off side shoulder and was subsequently stood down from racing for a period of 90 days.
Race 2 –GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUNDNOVICE 407Metres
RICHO’S MISS and STILTED CHATTER were both slow to begin. Going around the first turn MAGIC JEWELS shifted out and checked SENORITA FIESTA. FACTIONAL checked off the back of MAGIC JEWELS shortly after entering the back straight. VELOCITY PIPPA raced wide for the majority.
Race 3 –WENDY MULRY TRAVEL3rd& 4thGRADE 510Metres
Clean start. ARE JAY LOCHIE raced wide for the majority.
Race 4 –ROCKY FEED AND SEED4th&5thGRADE 407Metres
HARA’S SKYLAH and SPEED ACTION were both slow into stride. Going around the first turn ALADDIN’S ANGEL lost ground after being squeezed between HARA’S SKYLAH and SPEED ACTION.
Race 5 –DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL 5thGRADE 407Metres
OVER TIME and JIMMY’S REWARD were both slow into stride. OVER TIME checked outwards across the back of CRACKERJACK RUBY leaving the back straight. JIMMY”S REWARD raced wide for the majority.
Race 6 –DIPLOCK'S COLLISION AND REPAIR CENTRE5thGRADE 407Metres
IRONPOT SMASH was slow into stride. ZAMBORA PRIDE bumped WHINGING WILKO going around the first corner. Entering the back straight DREAM BIGGER was checked by WHINGING WILKO.
Race 7 –PATLAW SECURITIES 5thGRADE 510Metres
HARA’S DASH was slow into stride. GRACIOUS LADY and LONG SHOTS bumped going around the first turn. HARA’S DASH and LONG SHOTS bumped approaching the home turn. ROUGH ODDS checked off the back of ESOTERIC approaching the home turn.
Race 8 –THE CHASE MAGAZINE BEST 8407Metres
BRIDGET BENZ and DAZZLER’S HANGER bumped at the start. HAPPY PANTERA was slow into stride. BRIDGET BENZ checked off the back of HAPPY PANTERA entering the back straight. HAPPY PANTERA checked off the back of DAZZLER’S HANGER leaving the back straight. BRIDGET BENZ checked off the back of HAPPY PANTERA approaching the home turn. HAPPY PANTERA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found. BRIDGET BENZ underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering an injury to the near hind leg and was subsequently stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.
Race 9 – SANDAL WELDING407Metres
BOKARM LEO was slow to begin and shortly after the start checked outwards off the back of DOUBLE TAP and then continued to race wide for the majority of the race.
