Race 1 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL MAIDEN 407m 1 Wouldn't It Be - Shifted our rounding the home turn and was subsequently galloped on and lost ground. 4 Spring Napa - Slow to begin. 6 Spring Lance - Galloped on another runner rounding the home turn and as a result almost fell and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Race 2 – DIPLOCKS COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE NOVICE 407m 2 Soul Mate - Hampered and lost ground when racing tight from leaving the first turn until mid way up the back straight. 3 Xork Allen - Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. 4 Olivia's Opal - Tightened and lost ground shortly after the start. 5 Red Diggity - Slow to begin. 7 Supreme System - Hampered and lost ground when racing tight from leaving the first turn until mid way up the back straight. 8 Due To Sizzle - Checked and lost ground entering the home turn. Race 3 – NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD GRADE 5 (1) 407m 4 Angry Juice - Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. Shifted out in the middle stages of the home straight and marred the running of Miss Maia. Trainer Dallas Beckett was advised that Angry Juice, under the provisins of GAR69(2)(a), would be barred from racing at Rockhampton for a period of 28 days and must complete a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards. 5 Sparky Lass - Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. 8 Velocity Cara - Hampered rounding the first turn. Race 4 – ROCKY FEED AND SEED GRADE 5 (2) 407m 1 Master Card - Checked and lost ground in the back straight. 2 Irish Spice - Tightened and lost ground leaving the first turn. 4 Rose Texada - Tightened and lost ground rounding the home turn. 5 Live In Hope - Shifted out rounding the home turn and marred the running of Master Card. Trainer Dallas Beckett was advised that Live In Hope, under the provisins of GAR69(2)(a), would be barred from racing at Rockhampton for a period of 28 days and must complete a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards. Race 5 – PATLAW SECURITIES GRADE 5 (3) 407m 4 Zipping Martha - Tightened and lost ground in the early stages of the back straight. Put in an awkward stride in the later stages of the back straight and commenced to give ground. Finished the event well back. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound the be sore in the near fore leg and was stood down from racing for a period of 21 days. 8 Music Maestro - Slow to begin. Shifted in across heels over the final stages to avoid the heels of another runner. Race 6 – DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MA5 407m 1 Lockrod - Declared a late scratching during kenneling when the greyhound was found to have a sore toe on the near fore foot and was stood down from racing for 10 days. 3 Lexus Banner - Tightened and lost ground leaving first turn. 4 Mysterious Rose - Put in a number of awkward strides approaching the home turn when racing on the heels of another runner. Race 7 – DINKY DI WEB DESIGN GRADE 4 407m 1 Aladdin's Angel - Bumped entering the home turn. 2 Velocity Pippa - Shifted in entering the home turn and bumped another runner and as a result lost ground. 6 Crown Xena - Tightened and checked entering the home turn. Race 8 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND BEST 8 407m 3 Digger's Cove - Slow to begin. 4 Headliner - Tightened and checked entering the first turn. Further tightened and checked rounding the first turn. 5 Factional - Tightened and lost ground rounding the first turn. |
