Other Comments / Explanations: Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races
Race 1 - KOKODA TRAIL MAIDEN 407m 2 Aerobic Sprite, checked out off heels approaching the home turn. 3 Rogue Star, was slow to begin and was checked going around the first corner. 5 Champagne Koda, was slow to begin and raced wide for the majority. 6 Archie Harks, raced wide throughout. 7 You Don't Say, was slow to begin and was checked going around the first corner. 8 Durama Flash, was slow to begin.
Race 2 – LEST WE FORGET NOVICE 407m 1 Mia Sure Can, shifted out and hampered another runner in the home straight. 2 Rivergum Sal, dwelt at the start and was checked and lost ground going around the first corner. 4 Erratic George, was hampered by another runner in the home straight. 7 Senorita Fiesta, extremely slow into stride and raced wide for the majority.
Race 3 – DIGGERS MEMORIAL FFA 510m 1 Rose Ali, was hampered at the start and raced wide for the majority. 4 Tuta Sherry, was hampered at the start. 6 Waltzing Danube, jumped inwards at the start hampering two runners to the inside. 8 Ellie Grace, checked off heels leaving the back straight.
Race 4 – WE REMEMBER THEM GRADE 4 407m 1 Oprah Sure Can, shifted out and hampered another runner coming around the home turn. 2 Absolute Madness, was checked going around the first turn, 3 Are Jay Lochie, was checked and lost ground going around the first turn and raced wide for the remainder. 6 Special Speed, was hampered by another runner coming around the home turn. 7 Speed To Burn, was checked severely going around the first turn as a result suffered a heavy fall and finished the race well back. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no injuries were found. 8 Speed Action, was checked going around the first turn.
Race 5 – ANZAC CUP 0-3 WINS 510m 4 Tommy Lava, was slow to begin and going around the first corner shifted out abruptly hammering runners to the outside, shifted in over the concluding stages hampering runners to the inside. 6 Dr. Braelyn, checked out across heels going around the first corner. Was hampered over the concluding stages by another runner. 7 Sumatran Star, was severely checked going around the first corner. Was checked again entering the back straight. 8 Sheza Code Blue, was severely checked going around the first corner.
Race 6 – EL ALAMEIN 5PW 407m 2 Golden Devil, raced wide for the majority. 4 Super Suzie Que, was slow into stride. 5 Campfire Kid, was checked going around the first corner. 6 Chardonnay Mum, was hampered going around the first corner. 8 Bowie Beach, was slow into stride.
Race 7 – ANZAC COVE GRADE 5 (1) 407m 2 Nazare, was hampered approaching the first corner. 3 Birmingham Lass, was checked and forced out wide approaching the home corner. 4 Girls On Fire, was slow into stride, 7 Limerick Prince, was slow into stride, checked off heels in the back straight, finished the race well back and was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no injuries were found.
Race 8 – LONG TAN GRADE 5 (2) 407m 1 Miss Maia, raced wide for the majority. 5 Paua Of Bondi, checked out off heels entering the back straight and raced wide for the majority. 7 La Quinta, was slow to begin. 8 Bush Soldier, was slow into stride.
Race 9 – TOBRUK SIEGE BEST 8 407m 2 Digger's Cove, was slow to begin 5 Red Jamie, raced wide throughout. 7 Tuta Time, was slow into stride, checked out across heels entering the back straight, was hampered by another runner in the home straight, was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to sore in the left hind leg and was stood down from racing for 10 days. 8 Bet On Betty, was slow into stride shifted out abruptly in the home straight hammering another runner, was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no injuries were found.
Race 10 – LAST POST MIXED 4/5 407m 2 Rose Texada, was hampered approaching the home turn. 4 Kinate, was checked by a fallen runner approaching the first turn, finished the race well back. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to be injured in both hind legs and was stood down from racing for a period of 14 days. 6 Miss Wildwest, was severely checked shortly after the start. 7 Elle Koda, was checked severely going approaching the first turn as a result suffered a heavy fall and finished the race well back. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to be injured in both hind legs and was stood down from racing for a period of 14 days. |
