3 Rogue Star – severely checked in the back straight and lost substantial ground. |

7 Nitro Vic – very slow to begin. |
|
8 Billy Boils – collided into the rear of another runner in the back straight and lost substantial ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. |

Raced tight and checked into another on multiple occasions through the turn out of the back straight and lost substantial ground. Checked entering the front straight and lost further ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. |

4 Chief's Priority – tightened for room and checked on a number of occasions immediately after the start, losing ground as a result. |
