General:
Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry into the training status of Trainer Clinton Thompson in regard to him having the permission to train the greyhounds Billy’s Memory and Flawless Scottie which raced at tonight’s meeting. |

Race 1 - ROCKHAMPTON MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 1 MAIDEN 407m |
|
2 Giant Thrill, was checked from behind in the back straight, commenced to drop out after leaving the back straight. Was sent for a post race veterinary inspection and no injuries were found. |

5 Texas Moonshine, very slow to begin. |
|
6 Queen Norma, very slow to begin and checked in the back straight after running into the back of another runner. |
|

|
1 Mr. Putin, was checked and lost ground in the back straight. |

3 Spin Cabang, was checked in the back straight. |
|
4 Flying Marge, checked after leaving the back straight. |
|
5 Tokyo Dreamer, received a bump shortly after the start and was checked after leaving the back straight. |

1 Fernando Law, slow away and checked off heels approaching the first corner. |
|
5 Major Suspect, was hampered coming around the home turn. |
|
6 I'm Sassy, dropped out after leaving the back straight, finished the race well back. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no injuries were found. |

|
2 Camino Angel, checked and lost ground in the back straight. |
|
4 Billy's Memory, checked and lost ground leaving the back straight. |
|
6 Jimary Crimson, slow to again and bumped with another runner coming around the home turn. |
|
7 Won't Win Larson, slow to again and bumped with another runner coming around the home turn. |

5 Merlin's Missile, checked and lost ground in the back straight. |

6 Hear Footsteps, checked out of heels coming around the home turn. |
|
7 Just Law, checked and lost ground going around the first corner. |
|
8 Pole Inspector, checked and lost ground going around the first corner. |

|
3 Wise Decisions, was checked approaching the home turn. |
|
4 Mamba Two Four, raced wide throughout. |
|
6 Butter Puddin', checked and lost ground entering the back straight. |
|
7 Wenatchee, was checked heavily and lost considerable ground entering the back straight. |
|
8 Crown Of Thorns, entering the back straight was checked severely resulting in a heavy fall and failing to finish the race. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a badly injured off shoulder. Was given immediate pain relief and the shoulder was strapped by the veterinary surgeon. Trainer J Thompson was advised to take Crown Of Thorns to her local veterinary surgeon the next morning. |

5 Lines, raced wide for the majority. |

7 Bailing Out, slow and bumped with another runner at the start, checked off heels leaving the back straight. |
