2 Zipping Ariarne, shifted out going around the first turn checking other runners. |

4 Ninetymile Kobe, checked and lost ground going around the first turn and raced wide for the remainder. |
|
6 Rev Up Rusty, bumped another runner entering the back straight. |
|
7 Akimbo, checked and lost ground going around the first turn, a post race veterinary examination revealed to have a back muscle strain. Trainer G. Cluse was advised Akimbo was stood down from racing for 10 days. |

8 Broombrae Blaze, slow to begin and bumped another runner entering the back straight. and raced wide throughout. |
