1 Kahuna Beach, was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were detected.
2 Clive's Tip, slow to begin and raced wide down the home straight |

5 Rev Up Rusty, was hampered going around the first turn. |

6 Chase Me Chopper, was hampered going around the first turn and raced wide throughout. |

9 Road Home (8), approaching the second turn was checked heavily in the hind legs by another runner resulting in losing considerable ground. |

4 Dwarshuis, bumped with another runner at the start and raced wide throughout. In the catching pen collapsed and was transported to the veterinary surgeon. A post race veterinary examination determined Dwarshuis had passed away from a suspected cardiac episode. |

6 Nomad Road, was hampered entering the back straight and bumped with another runner in the home straight. |
|
7 Velocity Justice, checked and lost ground entering the back straight. turned its head outwards shortly after leaving the back straight and coming around the home turn. Stewards spoke with the trainer David Raines regarding the racing manners of Velocity Justice after leaving the back straight and coming around the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Velocity Justice was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment second offence. Velocity Justice was barred from racing for 28 days and must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted. |
