General:
Due to rain the previous day and throughout the morning Stewards, Club Official and the Track Manager inspected the track at 10:00am and 12:00pm and declared the track safe foe racing.

Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 407m |

1 Free From Desire, slow to begin and approaching the home turn shifted out and bumped another runner. |
|
2 Off Beat, going around the first turn shifted out and checked another runner heavily and approaching the home turn was bumped by another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed ligament damage in the left fore toe. |
|
3 Zipping Ariarne, going around the first turn was checked heavily resulting in falling and finishing the race well back. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. |

6 Penny And Clyde, bumped another runner going around the first turn. |
|
7 Starlight Swift, slow to begin and was bumped coming around the home turn, raced wide for the majority. |
|
8 Rosa's Legend, bumped another runner going around the first turn. |
|
9 Gunyah Mate (5), was bumped going around the first turn and was checked and lost ground after leaving the back straight. |

7 Cyclone Fergie, slow to begin and was checked in the back straight and raced wide for the remainder. |

5 Bank Heist, checked and lost ground in the back straight and checked out off hind legs in approaching the home turn. |

6 Enrique Fernando, slow to begin and raced very wide down the home straight. |

2 Deadly Cecil, bumped heavily with another runner going around the first turn and pulled up and took no further part in the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a suspected broken right hind hock. Was given immediate pain relief and the leg was strapped for support. |

5 Social Impact, slow to begin and was checked going around the first turn losing considerable ground. |
|
6 Black Delight, coming around the home turn shifted out wide and bumped another runner in the home straight. |
|
7 Genius You, slow to begin and checked another runner heavily going around the first turn as a result lost considerable ground. |
|
8 Saron, raced wide throughout and was bumped by another runner in the home straight. |

4 Canary Wharf, raced wide for the majority. |

9 Annali (6), was bumped going around first turn, shifted in and bumped another runner coming around the home turn, In the catching pen when pulling up collided heavily with other runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a catastrophic injury to the right hind leg and as a result was euthanised on humane grounds. |
