Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN 407m

 

1 Sonic Groove, checked out off the heels of another runner in the back straight.

 

2 Baby Beau, checked and lost ground entering the back straight.  Bumped with Kajai Rani coming around the home turn.

 

4 Nikanova, approaching the first turn was dragged down in the hind legs by another runner resulting in falling heavily and taking no further part in the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed to have an injured right shoulder tear, mild concussion and an injured right stopper.

 

5 Dance Prize, approaching the home turn and coming around the home turn slowed and shifted out towards In Good Faith forcing that runner extremely wide on the track. Stewards spoke with trainer Michael Boody regarding the racing manners of Dance Prize approaching the home turn and coming around the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Dance Prize was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment first offence. Dance Prize was barred from racing for 28 days and must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

6 In Good Faith, approaching home turn and coming around the home turn was forced out wide by Dance Prize.

 

7 Little Spyro, slow to begin.

 

8 Kajal Rani, slow to begin and bumped with Baby Beau coming around the home turn.

 

 

Race 2 - TAB NOVICE 407m

 

1 Walk On Sunshine, entering the back straight checked out off hind legs.

 

2 Tiger Mum, slow to begin.

 

4 Tokin Beach, slow to begin.

 

6 Spot On Thyra, extremely slow to begin and made no ground throughout the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Jeffery Kuhl was advised Spot On Thyra was barred from racing until it passes a trial to the satisfaction of stewards.

 

7 Last Date, slow to begin and checked and lost ground going around the first turn.

 

 

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 5 (1) 407m

 

1 Hit List, crowded for room going around the first turn then shifted out wide and raced wide for the remainder.

 

5 Snowy's Entity, slow into stride and failed to show any early speed.

 

8 Lektra Left, checked and lost ground leaving the back straight.

 

 

Race 4 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD GRADE 4 407m

 

1 Be The Best, checked out off hind legs in the back straight.

 

6 Striking Stare, slow to begin and checked and lost ground in the back straight.

 

7 Systems Down, raced wide for the majority.

 

 

Race 5 - DIPLOCK'S COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE GRADE 5 (1) 510m

 

1 Allegation, bumped with Thriller Strike shortly after the start and approaching the first turn forced Dynamic One out wide.

 

2 Thriller Strike, bumped with Allegation shortly after the start and bumped with another runner coming around the home turn.

 

3 Dynamic One, slow into stride and shifted out wide going around the first turn and checked another runner.

 

5 Semiyon, bumped with another runner coming around the home turn.

 

7 Jess Trees, slow into stride. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

8 Zipping Dudley, slow into stride and was checked going around the first turn and raced wide throughout.

 

 

Race 6 - ROCKY FEED & SEED GRADE 5 (2) 510m

 

2 Mepunga Web, bumped with Chips In approaching the first turn.

 

3 Tokyo Dreamer, slow to begin and checked and lost ground going around the second turn and checked off hind legs leaving the back straight.

 

5 Shakey Country, checked and lost ground going around the second turn.

 

7 Chips In, was bumped by Mepunga Web approaching the first turn and checked and lost ground going around the second turn.

 

8 Counter Proposal, checked and lost ground going around the second turn and was checked again leaving the back straight. In the home straight turned its head momentarily to the inside for a stride. Stewards spoke with trainer Clinton Thompson and advised him a warning was placed on Counter Proposal for its racing manners.

 

9 Mean Pop (6), slow to begin raced extremely wide around the first turn and checked and lost ground leaving the back straight.

 

 

Race 7 - QGOLD HEAT 1 OPEN 407m

 

2 Pereira, slow to begin.

 

5 Rosa's Routine, very slow to begin and raced wide for the majority.

 

6 Angel Harks, slow to begin and bumped with another runner entering the home straight.  

 

7 Velocity Cazau, bumped with another runner entering the home straight.

 

8 Pitter Patter, slow to begin and raced wide for the majority.

 

 

Race 8 - QGOLD HEAT 2 OPEN 407m

 

1 White Like Snow, was checked entering the back straight then shifted out and raced wide for the remainder.

 

2 Rosa's Legend, checked and lost ground going around the first turn and was checked again at the end of the back straight.

 

3 Guru Bart, slow to begin and checked out off hind legs shortly after leaving the back straight.

 

4 Explosive Stare, slow to begin.

 

8 First Black Jack, slow to begin.

 

 

Race 9 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL BEST 8 407m

 

2 Bank Heist, slow to begin and checked off hind legs in the back straight.

 

7 Mexicali Jane, slow to begin and bumped with Black Delight leaving the back straight.

 

8 Black Delight, very slow to begin and bumped with Mexicali Jane leaving the back straight.

 

 

Race 10 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN GRADE 5 (2) 407m

 

2 Yuri Magic, slow to begin and checked off hind legs entering the back straight.

 

4 Vibranium, leaving the back straight was squeezed between Misunderstood and Tuesday’s Gone.

 

5 Osprey Phantom, very slow to begin raced wide around the home turn and down the home straight.

 

8 Sherman, slow to begin.

 

 

Race 11 - TAB GRADE 5 (3) 407m

 

1 Jack's Debacle, shifted out after entering the back straight and raced wide the remainder.

 

6 Black Magic Ryno, checked and lost ground shortly after the start when squeezed between Rifle Man and Glorious Purpose.

 

8 Summer Weeds, raced wide for the majority.

 

 

Race 12 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MA5 407m

 

1 Black Baccara, was pushed wide around the home turn.

 

3 He's Nosey, was pushed wide around the home turn.

 

5 Signify, checked entering the back straight.

 

7 Easy Eddie, slow to begin.

 

8 Rosa's Memory, raced for the majority and was forced wide around the home turn.
