Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 407m

Trainer Dallas Beckett was fined $100 for negligently presenting his greyhounds Mini Star and Little Spyro wearing the incorrect numbered rugs.

1 Run Along Anna – Checked racing around the first turn.

2 Magani – Checked racing around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination of the greyhound revealed a cut to the right hind foot and a 5 day stand down was issued. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound in the home straight. After hearing submissions from the trainer, acting on their own observations and viewing the available replays, stewards were of the opinion that Magani had failed to pursue the lure keenly throughout by turning its head inwards and easing in the home straight. As this was the greyhounds second offence it has been stood down for 28 days at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory trial.

9 Shane's Pick (3) – Slow out. Checked soon after the start. Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right hip support injury and a 10 day stand down period was issued.

Race 3 - SKY RACING NOV/M 510m

1 Bear Blaster - Severely checked racing into the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.

3 Jess Trees – Slow out.

4 Silky Ripple – Checked racing into the first turn.
