Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN (1) 407m

1 Legendary Spyro – Checked around the first turn.      

4 Too Much Scotch – Checked racing into the first turn. Checked around the first turn. Checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a left hind muscle strain and as a result the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

5 Mia Jet – Bumped and checked rounding the home turn.

6 All These Years – Slow to begin.

7 Sakura Sky – Slow to begin. Bumped and hampered rounding the home turn.

8 Nolana – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 407m

2 Mockingbird Word – Shifted outwards rounding the home turn and in the home straight marring another runner for a considerable distance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. After speaking with trainer M Boody, stewards were of the opinion that Mockingbird Word had marred the running of another greyhound and as such has been stood down from racing for 28 days at all tracks and until the completion of a satisfactory stewards trial for a second offence.

3 In Good Faith – Hampered and checked for a considerable distance rounding the home turn and in the home straight when marred by another runner.

4 Like A Girl - Slow to begin. Checked rounding the first turn. Checked off heels racing off the back straight.

7 Run Along Anna – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the first turn.

8 Conway Bay – Slow to begin. Commenced to lose contact with the main body of the field into the back straight and trailed the field thereafter. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Stewards questioned trainer C Thompson regarding the greyhound’s performance and he explained that the greyhound’s immediate future is to be assessed by connections. Conway Bay has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial for an unsatisfactory performance.

Race 3 - TAB NOVICE 407m

1 Jess Trees – Checked around the first turn. Bumped and checked racing off the back straight.

2 Swerve – Checked around the first turn and appear to hit the running rail. Bumped and checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.

4 Garnacho – Checked around the first turn.

6 Sonic Groove – Checked around the first turn.

8 She's So Cosmic – Slow to begin.

Race 4 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD MIXED 4/5 407m

1 Francis Geoffrey – Late scratching at 7.33pm due to illness. The greyhound has now been stood down for 10 days.

2 Raven On Koby – Checked racing of the back straight.

3 Tokyo Dreamer – Checked around the first turn.

4 Sisu – Checked around the first turn.

4 Velocity Tamika – Checked racing off the back straight. Severely checked and stumbled approaching the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.

5 Mexicali Jane – Slow to begin. Checked racing off the back straight. Checked across heels around the home turn.

8 Be Like Oliver – Slow to begin. Checked around the first turn.

Race 7 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL ANNIVERSARY CUP HEAT 1 MIXED 4/5 510m

1 Counter Proposal – Checked racing into the back straight.

5 Sholto - Checked and galloped on behind racing into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.

Race 8 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN ANNIVERSARY CUP HEAT 2 MIXED 4/5 510m

1 Misunderstood – Slow to begin. Muzzle became partially dislodged at the start.

2 White Whale – Bumped and hampered racing into the first turn.

Race 9 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD GRADE 5 (1) 407m

1 Cause Havoc – Shifted outwards rounding the home turn and bumped another runner on multiple occasions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed cuts to the webbing on both back feet and as a result the greyhound was stood down for 21 days. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound rounding the home turn with regard to its outward movement towards another runner. After considering their own observations, submissions made by trainer N Jackson and viewing the available replays stewards were satisfied that the greyhound failed to pursue the lure with due commitment by way of injury at that stage of the race and due to the veterinary findings the 21 days standdown period was the penalty imposed in accordance with GAR 125(1)(a).  

2 Kooky Loopy – Checked approaching the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound in the home straight. Considering submissions from trainer A Svensen’s representative E Suili, acting on their own observations and the available replays, stewards were satisfied the greyhound had failed to pursue the lure with due commitment for a second offence and Kooky Loopy has been stood down for 28 days all tracks and until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

5 Glorious Purpose – Checked around the first turn.
