Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 407m

2 Sakura Sky – Checked into the first turn.

3 Sonny Be Swift – Slow to begin. Checked around the first turn.

5 Bit More Zip – Marred the running of another runner in the back straight. Bumped another runner in the run to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Trainer M Boody was questioned regarding the manners of the greyhound and after hearing submissions, stewards were of the opinion the greyhound had marred another runner in the back straight by turning its head outwards and making muzzle contact on at least two occasions. As it was the greyhounds first offence a standdown of 28 days and a satisfactory trial was issued under GAR123.

6 Starlight Swift – Slow to begin.

7 Too Much Scotch – Hampered and marred by another runner in the back straight. Checked from behind racing off the back straight. Bumped by another runner in the home straight.

Race 2 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 407m

1 Torrid Sea – Checked rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.

3 Sonic Groove – Checked around the first turn.

4 Titanium Blend – Checked around the first turn.

5 Little Spyro – Slow to begin.

6 Jess Trees – Slow to begin. Checked racing off the back straight.

7 Garnacho – Checked around the first turn.

8 Shona's Fury – Slow to begin. Checked around the first turn.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside leg and the greyhound was stood down for 60 days. A veterinary clearance trial will be required prior to resuming racing. This will be referred to the Racing Injury Review Panel.

8 Danish Cake – A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Trainer A Suili was questioned regarding the manners of the greyhound and after hearing submissions, stewards were of the opinion the greyhound had marred another runner in the home straight by turning its head inwards and making muzzle contact to the runner on its inside. As it was the greyhounds first offence a standdown of 28 days and a satisfactory trial was issued under GAR123.
